Derek Bathrick

Derek Bathrick was born in La Paz, Bolivia and lived throughout Latin America and Asia before settling in Northern Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia (B.A. in Foreign Affairs, 1996). Upon graduating, he worked at an international construction supply company in Santiago, Chile. He returned to the Washington, D.C. area and attended the George Washington University Law School (J.D. 2001). He became a Maryland bankruptcy lawyer at the Andrews Law Firm (fka Tommy Andrews, Jr., P.C.) in 2002.
He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar (2001), the Virginia Supreme Court, the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the Maryland State Bar (2003). His professional memberships include the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland and the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
