Tetiana Zhmachenko
Virginia Bankruptcy Lawyer
Tetiana Zhmachenko is a native of Ukraine and became a Virginia Bankruptcy lawyer at the Andrews Law Firm in May, 2009. She has been working in areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and commercial law since 2006. She was admitted to practice before Virginia state courts and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in 2008.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the George Washington University School of Law and a law degree from Ukraine. She had a previous career in area of public international law as a government attorney with the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. She is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
